Basic Quiche Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 9- inch pie crust baked and cooled
  • 6 ounces cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, thyme, and nutmeg in a medium bowl until blended.
  3. Stir in shredded cheese.
  4. Bake until center is almost set, but jiggles slightly when shaken and when knife inserted in center comes out clean 30-40 minutes.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Cut in slices and serve.

Quiche can be served warm or cold.
