In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips. In another bowl, beat the egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Spray griddle or large skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cupfuls batter onto prepared pan. When bubbles form on top of pancakes, flip. Cook until the second side is brown.
